Sports section is on page 48… To cover the Red Army’s retreat, Josef Stalin ordered the destruction of the Dnieper dam. Soviet citizens and Red Army troops downstream were not warned, and he blast created a huge tidal wave and flooding that killed tens of thousands of Soviets.
