The FBI has announced that eight German agents have been arrested after landing on the East Coast by submarine (see front page)… Winston Churchill has returned to England following the Second Washington Conference (see page four)…

On page five we find out more about yesterday’s awards ceremony at Washington, D.C.’s Bolling Field for the Doolittle Raiders. Whenever the subject comes up of where the raid on Tokyo originated the flyers say “Shangri-La.” America does not yet know how we managed to get B-25s over mainland Japan…
